I am writing to congratulate you on your position, which I understand you were voted into by your people; an honour to be sure.

I am also writing to apologise to you. Our first meeting was my first meeting with anyone Ascended, and I immediately and harshly judged you based on my own expectations and prejudices. I came into our discussion with the wrong mindset, determined to prove you wrong rather than to learn; for these things I apologise.

Since then, I have met several more Ascended and learnt much more about the world outside of Halo. As Warden, I have decided to try and be sure Halo is a place where the Ascended feel welcomed alongside others; as I myself am not loyal to the Old Gods I see little reason to insist on anything else, now that I have been assured there is no ill intent on their part.

I hope you see fit to forgive me and that we may have a productive relationship as leaders of our respective lands.

Dear Warden Aristomustachemache,

Okay, we can be friends. Loki says she wants to meet your unicorn, so you can come play at Theskyra House (That’s MY big house!) whenever you want.

The Voice says she needs to see Loren Firebrand’s metal and maybe she can help fix things. Is it still in Halo’s pocket? I know you don’t like her, but she is very very very smart sometimes. And sometimes not. But mostly yes.

Eirachi is keeping me cool.

Please bring Loren and Neron and your unicorn and Martha will make some tea. Do you like cake? I miss cake.

Thank you for your most interesting letter. I take it that we are now at a peace between us, something which makes me very happy indeed.

I'm not sure what you mean by Loren's 'metal'; if you know what it is you are looking for you are welcome to come to the Citadel and have a look yourself. Loren is ill at the moment, but if you can coax some coherency out of him, I'm sure he will be willing to help.

Neron is also ill. As such, its not wise for me to bring them over with me at this time: when they are both well, I will suggest the idea.
