Victory is sweet, and Ronin beams between their son and Remi, his feathers ruffling with his pride. "Octopus, schmoctopus," he says to the alchemist, applauding Mateo's efforts and waving as he pads away back up the beach to the hole he's been working on. Evidently he's too distracted by winning and by making sure the boy gets back okay, though, because suddenly his half-kraken husband is dragging him deeper into the water. "Oh? Well, we can't have that, can we?" he murmurs, dismissing his partial shift (and committing himself to learn to live with the tentacles again) as he closes the distance between himself and Remi. Hopefully the Lullaby will deem his kisses soothing enough, and the ocean will be spared his wrath. If not, though? Ronin will deal with it. Lazily.
