Collecting the letters and shifting them into a neat stack which she hides beneath the bar, assuming that would keep them safe from the captain, Flora raises her glass in response to his compliment before smiling around a healthy sip of gin. The fire that sings down her throat helps soothe her momentary flare of panic before adding to the warmth the pinch of Jack's fingers had kindled in her belly.
Leaning casually forward against the bar, it's with a slight stiffening of surprise and then casual disappointment, that Flora watches Jack rise. "I charge by the letter."
