Henry's taken aback by the flattery, unused to it, and is at a bit of a loss for words. He's fine with it, of course, but.. surprised. It coaxes a flush along his complexion, to think that someone would look at him and see more than he does in himself. He supposes some other people might - no, he hopes other people do - but it's different to hear it said out loud. And in such a genuine setting. It's nice. It makes him want to give Oliver the same feeling of being seen. He chuckles warmly at the toothy grin Oliver shows off.
Oliver leans into his playful petting and it makes Henry kind of swoon, if he's honest. It's evident to him that Oliver simply wants to be touched. It's exactly the kind of role he wants to play; the person to make others feel... something. Like they mean something; like their best is good enough.
So he leans in, pulling his hand away from Oliver's foxy ears to wrap around the other side of his head. Gently, he'll tilt his head in towads him and lean in for that overdue kiss. Henry goes about this almost too tentatively, pausing just before their lips meet, as if he's not sure it's the right move. Would there really be a perfect opportunity? He'd have to create the moment, like any of the other good ones in his life, so why not now?
