'Vai' is a name unknown to her, so it does not inspire any sort of empathy or anger on her behalf to hear of their attack. Her eyes narrow instead on Sunjata's own battered face. "It seems like it's more than a rumor if they've come after you," she says calmly, betrayed only by the slight lifting of her hair as static electricity gathers around her like a cloud. "And I'm assuming by you calling it a rumor you didn't do it. Who is accusing you?" For while he may not do it himself, Hotaru is more than willing to put a stop to this person just as finally as the actual perpetrator for daring to lay a hand on her lover.
