The resigned tone Sunjata agreed with did not fill Adam with hope about the solution to his new bonerless existence, but he tried to not get disheartened for the time being; he'd barely begun and there was time to work it out.
"Ohhhh, you're a sub. Subjata. Okay, that makes more sense." Adam nodded, mystery solved; he supposed Nate was the sort that took control. Not really his thing, but if that was what rocked Sunjata's boat, he wouldn't knock it. He'd not yet had a chance to try out the Ascended bite for himself and the mention of it brought a smile to Adam's face as he swung through the door after Jata. "Yeah? Do y'know if it works if y'bite another Ascended? Y'know, just curious. Obviously."
They step outside and while it isn't sunny, it is brighter, and he gets his first good look at Sunjata. "Whoa, what happened to your face? And uh...I dunno, dude, what're the options? I never got to explore Torchline much before."
