Jack watches and listens, sees everyone gather. He already knows some of this plan, not just because he's a telepath, but because Sunjata is actually a pretty good governor when he wants to be. As people start to disperse - bye then, Saiden and Melita - the captain reaches into his back pocket and draws out the choker with the manta jewel set into it.
