Sunjata is rising to his feet and so Jack slips off the desk as well, rolling his shoulders and relishing, a little, the way the sore muscles pull, the way the marks on his neck protest. "Don't reckon so," he mumbles, casting a cursory look over the desk again, the papers, everything else. "Nah, just bring yourself. S'normally enough to get people to listen, given that you're taller'n a main mast."
He's already moving as he's talking, heading towards the door to the office with his balled up shirt under one arm. (Let no one say Jack doesn't clean up his own mess when it suits him). The captain shouldn't really know the way as well as he does, considering it's his first venture into the governor's home, and yet he manages to weave his way out without any problem at all, relishing the warmth of the sun on his skin. "A'right - let's go." He juts out his chin that Sunjata should go first.
Is he watching the other man's back, or guarding his own? Blurred lines get blurrier.
