He knew nothing of this meeting with Safrin, but it made sense; Sam knew the Goddess was easily offended, and Jigano turning down an offer of hers would certainly do it. "Well, I see. You visited Safrin yourself, then? What was that like?" When they'd first met, she'd been quite enamoured with her Gods of Old, as far as he remembered; had she decided to respect the Caido deities instead?
When she asked about his voice he blinked a couple times, then remembered the last time they had met. "Oh. I...forgot I haven't seen you since...yes, I went back to her. I didn't want to die, just yet. I hope that doesn't make you think I'm weak."
