Still, it’s a change for all of them (Ronin is short a neighbour now after all), and that’s something to still get used to. Watching as Melita places her items upon his nimbus, the Star does manage a chuckle as he turns to lead them along the beach, Sugar trilling over his shoulder to girl and gourd.
”It should be fine,” he says of her items. ”It’s strong enough to hold two people, usually.” Speaking of, Melita asks about his person, and Ronin nods gently. ”He’s doing a lot better now that he’s had that water from the springs. Have you been up there?” He’s not sure if she’ll have had the time, with sailing. ”But he’s got itchy feet now. I suppose you’ve heard he’s stepping down as Governor?”
