However, what he lacked in physical prowess he more than made up for in craftiness. He led her on a merry chase through the Greatwood and along the banks of the river, using his knowledge and skills to evade her. However, he'd tire eventually, and then she'd strike.
When the trail led her to the Drop, she grinned. There were few places for her prey to escape. Before she could continue the hunt, though, she saw a familiar figure with a cat at its side. Frowning, the huntress cast one last look at the trail of the stag.
Then she fluttered over to Delphia. "You made it out of the storms and escaped the landshark." Landing, the Fae assessed the demi-goddess' state and injuries.
