Flower crowns? His thoughts were abuzz with the idea of it, unable to resist imagining the tower of a warrior decorated with the delicate stems and petal wreath forming a tiara. He kept his thoughts and amusement mostly to himself, letting a half-smile tilt his lips, giving a friendly nod to the arrival of another. At the arrival of Wessex, he let his expression soften as recognition flared, smiling more broadly as he lifted a hand in a small wave to her.
Then, Deimos was speaking, giving instructions and gesturing towards the various stations he had prepared. Chuy nodded thoughtfully, still eyeing the flower-crown-making station with a raised brow. He'd procrastinate that task until last, if he could. "I'll try wreath-making first," he wandered towards the indicated station, looking over the materials and wondering at exactly how he might represent Halo in a wreath (glossing over the fact that he wasn't quite sure he considered his homeland either).
Testing some of the materials for pliability and strength, he found himself completing a simple weave of what would appear to be nothing more than sticks - all hard lines, plain, a simple design, a sort of base to begin his (admittedly poor) attempt at making a wreath. Halo had little in the way of flowers, so as he worked, he wove some pale, snow-hued material in the design too. Then, to make it more than just a bunch of sticks with material woven through it, he began working some pale flowers into the design, selecting leaves that were coloured to look snow-frosted naturally, before enhancing it with well-placed snowdrops.
He was fairly satisfied with his work, and so kept going along the same design, the next one focussing on more glacial hues of blue and indigo.
