He hadn't meant to make the other trip over his words but he wasn't displeased with it. Matéo clears his throat and nods towards the wine he held. "Careful there."
A thoughtful hum passes from his lips as the man pauses. He was so open about his sexuality, not even a pause as he admitted his preference. It was refreshing, if unexpected. Another sip of his drink as he listens quietly. He's more than content to let the other do the talking, taking his time with the drink as compared to the previous ones. Perhaps the company wouldn't be so bad tonight.
