What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

Sam had gone home from the infirmary after a day or so, when his injuries were healed enough that for a normal person it would have taken two weeks. He went home and immediately curled up in one of his chairs, staring at the other and willing himself back in time to when Remi had been sat there. It had been awkward, a little uncomfortable...but that was nothing compared to the rawness in his chest now.
He visited as often as he could, but Remi was nearly always asleep and Sam just felt like he was in the way of Isla and the nurses. It wasn't like they were really together anyway. They were...something-maybes, almosts. He felt like he didn't deserve to sit at Remi's bedside for too long and would always leave after about half an hour, hugging himself and refusing to look at anyone else upon his exit.
It was time for another one of his short visits, a few days since the incident. He had begun to wonder if Remi would ever properly wake up, or if he would just remain a grim totem to Sam's awful mistake. In desperate hopefulness he took some more dried flowers and wrote Remi's name in a flowing script on a little label which he attached to them.
Arriving at the infirmary, he walked right away to Remi's room, keeping his head low so he didn't have time to look at someone and convince himself he was bothering them. As soon as he entered, he saw that Remi was sitting up (and shirtless, which drew a widening of his eyes that quickly diminished when he remembered the context) and paused for just a moment.
"Remi..? I-it is me, Samuel. I hope..I know you m-might be...mad at me. But...I b-brought you some flowers..." He took a few nervous steps forward and placed them on the counter beside him, looking to Remi then casting a confused glance at the handle coming from the ceiling. Had that always been there..?
