The shock is punishment enough for her failure, but Evie can't help the strangled growl of frustration that follows. The clicks are the only audible tell she has, and she can't discern if it's the normal resetting of gears or some sort of code or whatever the hell else that she can't parse. All she can do is stoop for more material, unashamed to try the same trick again with a different (hopefully more precise) angle. Turning in an approximated guess of where the dummy is, she casts out the dirt and rocks once more in hopes of tangling up those infernal gears.
Evie turns 180 degrees from initial start (if we're going of a clock) and repeats her last attack.
