Was Remi thinking clearly? Was he delirious? Drowning? Ronin needed no further motivation to fly in the direction of Whale 1, fully intending to throw his efforts into helping. Aware of Wessex and Remi's location in a way that he tragically had not been for Maea, the Dark Star opted for his axe again. He waited for an opportune moment, and flung the weapon down at the creature's head. His astral projection winked out, too, finding little way to assist any further. Hearing Remi's faint calls, Ronin redirects his attention to Whale 1. He throws his axe at the whale's skull, and dismisses his astral projection.
