As Maea took Loren's hand, he gave her a surprised look. However, he didn't pull away, just gave her a gentle squeeze. Smiling faintly at her question, he shook his head, then reached down to pull the sheet over her. "You're welcome. And no, I did not. It was just chamomile" He ran his free hand through his hair. "I'm not the biggest fan of mind-altering substances." The admission came out in a slightly embarrassed tone.
