The youth frowned a little, a narrowing of her eyes that might have been considered dangerous; a sigh looming somewhere between her lungs and chest, billowing, softening into the air. Sort of didn’t really constitute a valid answer. Perhaps he shouldn’t have been out here, swimming around while he wheezed. She was no medical expert, that had been her mother’s realm, but this couldn’t have been making him feel any better. “I can finish up quick then,” a swift nod, ensuring he would be done just as efficiently too – nothing else required from her at the bottom of the pool.
So she dove down, a beatific instinct, part nymph once more, gliding beneath and between crimson undulations, descending and plummeting all the while. Her hands grasped hold of some of the lichen, additional sources she thought the twins could share and decipher, and a handful of more rocks, pebbles, and stones she could fashion into something else, or carry along for future offerings. The youth swung around, kicked off the bottom again, propelling herself back towards the surface, breaking through the ruby tides with an effervescent smile. “Got them!”
