He was offering so much sympathy and well meaning and it did not go unnoticed. She felt it, like a gentle warmth in the chest that eased some of the pain she was feeling. Not really knowing what to say, other than 'thank you' over and over again, she just held her hand there if he would allow it, a gesture of mute gratitude. Then he seemed to have some small eureka moment, and she tilted her head and looked down at him from her perch, a brow rising curiously at his excitement, "I haven't really thought about it yet, to be honest," she admitted, having returned to see the state of her home only a few hours ago. "All options are welcome at this point. What do you have in mind?"
