Loren didn’t meet Maea’s eyes, or respond to her comment right away. Instead, he toyed with the sack, thoughts scattered and gaze far away. Finally, he sighed, and shook his head. "Not in the long run." He paused, staring at the ground. "I hurt people. I never mean to, but...it doesn't matter." His voice came out quietly defeated.So he took a deep breath, then another, before finally standing up. Ignoring the pain, he slung his sack across his back. "I understand. If you want tea, or more likely need me for some reason, you can usually find me at either the Launceleyn Manor or the Loreseekers Guild." With that, he gave her a careful nod, before he turned to trudge back towards the Settlement proper.
