The world darkened and pulsed , an indication of the arrival of the goddess. The darks and shadows bled away to vibrant jewel-tones, and overhead stars winked and twinkled more brightly than they had any right to do. Appearing in a long white gown, the goddess was seated on the shrine. With a soft hum that might have been the early strains of a song, the Sword would find himself reinvigorated in body and soul, if not in his heart. "What troubles you?" & the heavens will bow |
