RandoM EvenT What begins, at first, as a looming danger, is showing itself to be real, true horror up close. The worst part is that it has no reason - it is not evil, it does not have purpose, it does not serve anyone else. It simply is; nature for nature's sake. And it is much tougher, meaner and stronger than it looks. Loren's water sails overhead, the Mud Monster barely giving it a glance. Haai's bites and scratches come to nothing, and only the fact that Sunjata is literally submerged within the creature causes some of its mass to slough off. Phoebe, valiantly fighting with Pim at her side, finally loses some luck, and their ferocity comes to nothing. And then there is Oliver. Plucky Oliver, still trying to hammer at the creature through the pain. But ultimately the Mud Monster is too single-minded (or indeed mindless) to pay mind to his rocks, but the hybrid gets away from the fight unscathed. The same cannot be said for many others. Finally seeming to notice Loren as the source of the water, the monster takes a mighty swipe at the summoner - and connects. Indeed, its velocity carries it forward and against the icy wall. Against it and THROUGH it. The deafening crack of ice echoes across the festival grounds, and mud pours and pours and pours within. Chaos ensues. People run. People are smothered by the muck, crushed by it, drown in it. And shards of ice rain down upon this Fiat Lux parade, injuring many more - some of them fatally. All attacks MISS apart from Sunjata who HITS. Oliver LEAVES the KQ. The Mud Monster has broken through the ice wall and has begun to pour into the Fiat Lux festival. This will have lasting consequences on the Hollowed Grounds. Dozens of casualties and deaths will come of this. Your characters (those not participating in the KQ) may be injured by this event - the exent of which is entirely up to you. If you would like your character to die as a result of this event, again - entirely up to you. If you would like the admins to roll to determine what happens to them, you need only let us know.
