RONIN if there's one thing i'm good at, it's surviving Ronin snorted and shrugged his shoulders honestly at Remi. "I never expected to die and come back to life. Making my cloud stronger seems a small thing in comparison. Then again I suppose it must be the same thing for you, right? You ever think you'd be making weird little tree creatures?" Watching as Remi meandered about with the tea to prepare it, a small smirk found itself curling at the edges of Ronin's lips as he heard his husband out. Rise to the challenge? That he certainly did. So hopefully it wouldn't be a surprise for Remi that, when the alchemist turned around to lean against the counter, it would be to find Ronin already there as well. Not feeling as though he needed words to convey how he felt, he merely leant in to kiss the other man with a low hum of agreement. His fingers brushed over Remi's jaw, tilting his head up and back that he might deepen the kiss, as though eager to show his husband what he had been missing.
