Isla followed him away from the edge of the gorge, and once their feet were on reassuringly solid ground, she stepped closer to examine his hand. "You are bleeding, though..." she pointed out, reaching into her pocket to withdraw a handkerchief, dabbing at the cut and trying to check how deep it was.
