Immediately, the summoner let go of the other man’s staff and tried to sidestep, but in his rush he didn’t see the jab coming his way. His dodge caused it to slam into his ribs instead of his solar plexus, and pain blossomed there, which Loren ignored. While the other man was strong, the Launceleyn didn’t think anything was broken, and if it started to bother him he’d just heal it.
