Loren’s strike failed to connect as Cera pulled off a slick maneuver and vaulted away from the Launceleyn. No matter. They’d exchanged blows, and the summoner was feeling more confident about his chances. So instead of parrying the other man’s bo, Loren took a small step to the side and swayed out of the way, hand reaching for the end of Cera’s staff.
