The entire thing was utterly striking and beautiful – gods and goddesses, Ronin and Remi, lights, fires, and rings. It was a magical, wondrous experience from start to finish, and the honeybee girl was glad to have been another witness in its monumental efforts. It merely proved that love managed to conquer all; from death and desecration, to second and third chances, through disaster and ruin, they’d still come together, they’d still triumphed. They’d persevered. They’d conquered. They’d defied. It built an incandescent smile on her face, as they offered their vows, as they continued through the ceremony, as rings and kisses were exchanged; a finale to end all finales as a rush of fireworks burst into the sky.…in the shape of…penises.
Truthfully, it might not have been the way she would’ve chosen to close out the rituals, but it seemed to only hasten the rest of their fiery spirits, and she laughed with the rest of them, loud upheavals and hurrahs, shouts and outcries, a pouring of love for love.
