Cut off by the way Remi suddenly lunged forward and into his lion shift, the guildmaster had two choices - to try and dodge or to stand his ground.
And Ronin had always been an idiot to stand his ground, of course - so he really did try to brace against the feline, only (of course) to find himself knocked flat on his back, having taken the training dummy down with him. "Wow, I'm stupid," he said, laughing through the pain.
