Remi's confession surprised Emmett; admittedly he didn't know the Alchemist that well but he'd always seemed a brave hero sort. Usually those were the people to break the rules in a second for their friends, to damn the consequences if it seemed right or important.
"I think right now is a damn good time to start, honestly." He grumbled, then just to be petty (and satisfy the annoyance in him, just for a second) he walked over and stood on the other side of the barrier-line, firmly planting his feet into the grass of the beginning of the woods.
