But at least Flora had easier topics at hand, and the Heart latched onto them gladly, picking up her wine glass and taking a healthy sip as she listened. At Flora's statement that she was really strong now, Soh smiled affectionately at her friend, pride for and admiration of the young woman shining in her silver eyes. She swallowed another sip of wine.

"Why wouldn't Hadama let you co-lead?" Soh asked, tilting her head to one side in confusion. It seemed to her that the merking was a reasonable sort - and he was her friend. Something about Flora leading a coup against him didn't sit well with the young Heart, but this was Flora.
