Evie is used to this type of mindset having come from the Grounds, and it makes her smile despite herself, wondering if that's where Alys hails from. "Yes you can. Or would you rather I order you to as your Warden?" It's paired with a cheeky wink and a smile, hoping to put Alys at ease with the situation if not the transaction.

Still holding the key toward Alys, she steps closer, waggling it slightly. Though she pauses when Aly mentions exchanging something at the very least, nothing immediately comes to mind. "Um...well, nobody knows yet, but..." her cheeks flush, and the key drops slightly between them, something close to shame and shyness intruding on her pretty face. "Deimos and I are getting married. And all of my family are gone, so I have nobody to help me with my dress or stand at my side. I know it's likely an even bigger ask, but if you wanted to come...?" The weight of the ask seems to hit her all at once, and she shakes her head and hands in tandem as if trying to wave away the memory of what she'd just implied. "O-Or you can just give me shop discounts for a year! Gods, sorry." But it had been the biggest thing she could think of, the only thing big enough to potentially even out the scales of giving Alys the shop.
