He grinned at her teasing, enjoying the comfort of being able to enjoy a night with his friend when they weren't on some crazy quest or adventure. It was... nice. To just be together, with no plans or expectations. Even if some of the topics of conversation weren't the most fun, at least they weren't so hard to talk about with Alys, who was a good listener and a supportive presence across the table.
