what makes a desert beautiful...is that it hides a well, somewhere
Mort's realm was the most open to the two demigods who stood before him now; perhaps that was why the cream-coloured columns of death's halls, which blended seamlessly into the trees, were visible to both Delphia and Remi as the God of Death stepped from one reality and into another amidst thick tendrils of golden sunlight.

'I hope the matter isn't too urgent that you don't have time for a hug.' Boyish and youthful while still affecting an air of great age and wisdom, the god holds open his arms for his daughter. He admired Delphia's no-nonsense attitude and her dedication to any and all tasks set before her; Mort hoped she would forgive him his fatherly affections no matter how grave the matter she brought to him.

'Hello Remi. I trust you're doing well?' Reaching out to embrace the Lullaby as well, both demigods would feel their worries and cares ebbing away as bright and unfiltered joy descended upon them.
