Glancing down at his arm and also ignoring Pip for now, Flora coos theatrically under her breath as if Koa was being the biggest and bravest soldier that ever there was, all while injured. Really though, wasn't he? From what she recalled of the dragoons in the past, many of them were lazy undisciplined babies, and while it likely said much more about her daddy issues than anything else, Flora thought it was incredibly attractive that Koa was willing to push through the pain and do what needed to be done. "What happened?"

He has our nonna's fingers on a necklace that can heal." This is said as if keeping bits of your extended family on your person at all times is the norm. As for his actual question? Flora merely glances over her shoulder with the edge of her lip between her teeth. 'Wanna grab lunch? My treat.'
