The Sword could wish this wasn’t how the world worked – that they’d have their own time to muse and prosper and do nothing but rest within moments. Perhaps they’d already had those idle hours, and would simply crave them for years to come all over again; because they truly hadn’t had turmoil since the war, and while he’d never quite be used to the manner of repose, the serenity, the tranquility, of just being had been remarkable.
