Splat apparently decided that Boreal's offering made her friend and not food. The darkling did a lap around her head, buzzing excitedly as the dragon made her own offering. "Thank you, Boreal," Edmund offered with a small grin. Danta's offer was a welcome surprise, and the younger Ancient's tail curled happily. "Yes, please." Maybe he was finally growing on his fellow Ancients? That'd be nice. Talyson's squeamishness was understandable, just a year ago Edmund would have had a similar reaction. As such, he passed no judgment on the Accepted and instead clinked his glass against the courier's before going to take a sip. The younger Ancient hesitated for a moment, never having had alcohol. It was no surprise that Danta had brought some and called a toast, but Edmund was unsure of actually partaking. Taking a brief breath he took a hearty sip, the burn on the back of his throat catching him off guard and almost making him cough. He managed to stop the reflex, giving a little shake of his head. It wasn't bad per say... just weird. He took a second sip and decided that that was enough for him. "To Mother." He stated firmly before offering the rest of his drink (glass and all) to Splat. The darkling happily took it and then floated to the floor before turning into a puddle.
