He'd just finished dropping off a delivery for Flora when he'd caught sight of an almost-familiar cloud of black hair disappearing around a corner. Boreal had immediately taken off after it and Tal had, perforce, followed, eventually catching up outside the door(?) of a new establishment filled with familiar faces.
"Sol! How's the explorin' goin'?" he asked totally casually and not at all like a concerned friend frenemy of her father's. He looked around the project Soleil dived into and chewed his lip, thinking hard. Adventurer's guild, huh? Well...
But she wasn't the only friendly face. "Hey, Soh!" he called, surprised and pleased to see his dear friend so far from home. Boreal let out a rumbling croon and trotted over to peer into the mortar bucket and then bump her head affectionately against Sohalia 's thigh.
"An', uh...Edmund, right?" he nodded with more reservation to the horned young man who seemed to be involved in yet another construction project. The boy sure was busy, and he was getting around, but he seemed nice enough. And he'd drawn in a pretty high-class crowd of helpers so far, if Tal did say so himself.
"Figure I can fix up a new door," he offered a touch gruffly. Spending the time would let him get more of a feel for this new guildmaster, at least, and see if Sol would decide to stick around with him. He headed over to the hammers, nails, and wooden planks and put his own woodworking skills to good use in sanding and constructing a new door for the place.
Tal shows up and builds a door!
