Perhaps one day when he's a bit wiser he will better understand that not all adventures are meant to be stories, relived and revisited again and again.

"Truth be told, it's been a little hard for me to keep up with my normal training, being away from home. But I'm here for another few weeks - I'd be honored to get some pointers from a Relic Hunter, if you're available." He winks playfully, a guileless, friendly smile on his tanned face. Koa may be proud, but he holds no illusions as to whether or not Mel could kick his ass.
