One might have expected Jack to be more interested in whatever secrets are hidden in Remi's letters, but there's nothing in Flora's thoughts to suggest there's anything more than a personal need for privacy, and so he leaves it be. For now. If his sticky fingers ever do get curious, there's nothing a well placed gale won't fix to blow the neat little letter stack all across the floor.

If you weren't a savvy businesswoman by now, I'd be disappointed," the captain informs her, and whilst he does offer a lingering glance to the Doubletake over his shoulder as he leaves, he still does leave. Maybe if Flora baits her hook with something a little more to the captain's taste, she might reel him in for a night.
