He spins away once more, but Anju had not gone for a more dangerous lower swipe for no reason, and is expecting his return. In a half-lunge she brings her sword back up over her head, one palm supporting the flat of the blade to catch Deimos’ on it. This time she would be able to weather his strength better with her kneeling position providing greater security and strength of her own - and it allows her to sweep her leg out at his ankles to try and force him backwards or knock him down.

Grinning and breath coming harder, the Dragoon readjusts her hands and straightens to continue their assaults. She had clearly made the right choice by taking Talyson’s advice and visiting the Barracks. Perhaps she has found herself a long term sparring partner.
