[DROP] I don't give a fort

Edmund's eyes go wide with panic when he spots Maeve. "Well.. I...uh..I left a note? On the kitchen table?" The teenager's voice rises a few octaves with each word, only to end in a small whimper when he sees the tears in his Mum's eyes.  The only reason he remains on his feet is the strength of her grip. "I.." He can't say he's sorry, now can he? He hates that he hurt his family, but he doesn't regret his choice. Instead, Edmund bites his lip anxiously and shakes his head, pulling his hood back on, "Not here." Tearing his arm away he backpaddles, "I'll send a letter, I promise." With that, he gives into the instincts that have been screaming at him. It's too cold and this conversation is just too much. He needs to get out, now. He quickly begins to shift, rushing it enough that the Ancient can't help but flinch. As soon as he's able, the molten tiger urns and sprints away. He can't do this today. ~ Edmund panics seeing Maeve and decides he's too cold and too stressed to do this. He shifts into his molten tiger form and tries to flee the drop.
