There is a mixed reaction to her attempts to help. The infant starwhale's joy is a contagious thing, briefly soothing Amalia's concerns. She wishes her avian face could smile- and with that wish comes a slight shifting as something like a mouth develops beneath her beak, her face half-shifting and contorting to resemble that of a tengu. "That's it!" she calls into the wind, laughter and delight in her voice. "Look at you, you're doing it!" Amalia Her eyes, they know too much. She'll treat you like somebody but you just can't touch. |
