Deimos presumed lightning would be part of the training, but could only faintly smirk when Sah decided to get creative. He’d already been a witness to several inventive notions of the Advisor, including punching a landshark in the face, but perhaps this would hold a different outcome.
At the very least, it made him calculate and think, stretching out his capabilities as well. He watched as the sparks shot around him – and over to the dummies, conducting through some of their metallic portions. It almost reminded him of that small journey before King’s End was unfurled to them again – the crashes of danger, the potential for desecration, the way he’d burrowed them into the land to avoid the unyielding elements.
With a quiet huff, the Sword leaned into his Mastered Earth incantations, lending them pulse and pervade through the training grounds, and snag at the floor, raising it to become a grounding shield, hovering over him so the lightning couldn’t, wouldn’t, strike his form.
