Pretending not to see that he’s just bitten it, she announces to him and the Flood, “Just when we think we know a lot about Caido -” and then gestures futily towards the pit. “Can’t let them have all the fun.”
She sprouts a new pair of wings from her shoulder blades, offers a toothy grin to the two men, and dives in.
