In the dark I hear a call

Isla closes her eyes, not realising they're both doing the same thing, but also feeling as though this is a moment that she desperately needs to savour just in case it never comes around again. "Mm, Sunjata..." Sighing needlessly, she peeps up at him as best she can without giving up any of the closeness between them. "I hate to say it, but he must have known enough given who was using those shifts..."

Furrowing her brows, Isla shakes her head sadly. "That's another reason I'd like to be there with him, or at least to establish the boundaries of the meeting beforehand. I don't know yet if Sunjata is going to stay in the Wilds or if he will move to the Grounds, but if he does, he's under my remit as well, I suppose." Confusingly personal doesn't even begin to cover it, and Isla shakes her head.

"I can say for certain at least that something will be done. And I know it won't mean much to you, and I don't expect it to, but Wessex also regrets her actions. So I will do whatever I can to make this right." And to make this not start the war goes unsaid.
