Sah chuckled at his cousin's grumbling, "I'm pretty sure sand is different everywhere. Just like dirt is." Although he didn't really know why, he assumed it was connected to the different plants, animal, or maybe even weather of places. He was sure someone knew, but he'd never thought to ask before.
Lilly nudged Sah's side, making her bonded glance down at her. "What?" The wolf pawed at the sand, circled the humans, and nudged Cordelia as well. It took a second but soon her bonded caught on and let out a chuckle. "Alright, alright."
Sah glanced at Cordelia with a mischievous grin, "Lilly doesn't want to be in the desert any longer than she has to be. So..." He trailed off, adjusting his hold on the water, "Race you there!" With that, Sah took off running along their path.
