The mess disassembled in a grand explosion of shimmers, beacons of little light, catching fragments of hues, blending together in a sinuous, unwinding snap – all over the floor, herself, the art, pillars, pews. “Oops,” she murmured in a haphazard laugh, giggling all the while as the stuff fell from her hair in a beautiful array. Clearly unbothered and not the last bit embarrassed, the youth looked down at her clothing. “So sorry,” she murmured to Gideon behind a cheeky grin, shaking her head a little, watching as bits of the disarray continued to topple down. “I’ll go get a broom too.”
Daintily, as if trying not to spread it even further across the venue, she stepped lightly over fragments of stone, attempting not to leave a glitter trail as she walked. Along the way back, she began to sweep up the mess, starting first with the floor, and then working towards the pillars and pews.
