The hair ruffle triggers another giggle from the child, a burst of laughter and glee filling the air. "Maybe! I wonder what they look like?" Would they be as cute as the red one? Would they make the same funny noises? Edmund would love to see them one day if they were out there in the Wilds.
Edmund eyes Aurelia with wonder as she lists some of her abilities. "You have fire too?!?" Excitement fills him and the child scoots forward to eye the women with eager eyes. "Please teach me more about fire magic!" Taking a deep breath, Edmund makes himself calm down a bit. "Please? I can make flames move a little, but I can't do anything else. I want to light candles and stuff!" Moving fire was cool, but creating it? That sounded incredible to the child.
