Shields, huh? Good thinking on his part, because there probably isn’t much in here that can hurt the fully metal ensemble she’s sporting (and that’s as much for his protection as it is for hers). Agility, however, that thing she’s rather proud of, is inherently different in this body. And she’s not even the biggest thing out there. You think this is big? Remi’s fucking sea-monster-kraken-thing is just absurd. Unfairly so. How were they supposed to fight it? How were they supposed to fight anything Remi does?
But her focus should be on Cal and not the imaginary-Remi, so Wessex returns her attention to the Captain. The easiest thing to do would be to maneuver so she can shoot a feather at it, but that’s not what she wants to do quite yet. Instead, the General pulls her wings in and tries to makes herself as ‘small’ as possible so she won’t hit anything else, before darting aiming for Cal with her beak and lunging towards him.
