As for what is wise and people's expectations, Jack gives her a shark's grin. "Fuck 'em," he says. "The crew'll think what I tell 'em to, an' as long as you pull your weight on deck I don't give two fucks what you do with the rest of your time. Besides, I'm the only person whose opinion matters, right?"
